Crystal Mining

Now the Lego town has a Reason to exist (because by town standards it would be more like an outpost)! The Reason is that it is a mining operation for a special kind of crystal that absorbs power like a battery. The crystals grow on rocks in the mine (which is why the miners are constantly working). The operation has employed about 8 workers total.

  1. The miners (dwarves) mine the gems and load them into mine carts.
  2. The carts drive to the unloading station where their contents are loaded into a larger train car.
  3. The train car drives to the processing facility and more workers unload it into the processing bins.
  4. After the crystals are processed, they are stored in a storage yard until shipped.

New SWAT tank: The ADV

My newest SNOT (studs-not-on-top) vehicle is the Armored defense Vehicle (ADV)!
It has (to scale) foot thick armor walls covering all but the bottom, and has a total of 6 headlights 4 tail lights, and two sirens
Its roof opens up as you can see in this picture:
Below are some random photos you can use if you want to build your own.

Lego Rulebook

Recently i have been working on a Rulebook for the Legotown. you can find it in PDF format here. I made it becouse some people have had some trouble figuring out how to make money in the town (mostly friends).

Note: Just so you know, the town is pretty much a giant slum where there's lots of crime. That is why the rulebook is the way it is.

Green Grocer

Green Grocer was $149.99. It's the most expensive kit I've purchased. (Above) Green Grocer (in the background is a the Hammertong and a civil war, if you're wondering).
The first floor has a grocery store, and staircases to the second, third, and fourth floors.
The second floor has nothing but a carpet and a fireplace.
The third floor has a radiator and a grandfather clock.
The fourth floor is a deck with a grill and a picnic table

Rating; 10/10!

Legotown Project completed!

The Legotown project has been completed! The new table is big enough to hold almost all the (Built) Legos I have.(Above) The Center island will be Main Street in the town. The rest of the area will be a space port, military staging area, etc.
I plan to start rebuilding the town ASAP.

The Legotown project

I have a new project: Project Legotown! Project Legotown mostly includes making a new project space to build on. It will (hopefully) look like this:(above) done in Google Sketchup
At the moment the building space looks like this:

The basics of currency

The basics of currency in my town is kind of simple;
These (above) are the 5 basic amounts. (note: Due to the shortage of money in the town, items cost much less than in real life (I.E a car might cost 25).)

Gold (above) are the second most common of the money, and its value is 1.
Neon Green crystals (above) are the most common. while they don't actually have an official value, most civilians will except them as $5.
Blue Crystal is the third most common. It is worth 10.
Red crystal is the second rarest. Its value is 50.
Green crystals are more common. they are worth 100.
Orange crystals are the least common; (i have a total of 4). they are worth 1000.

Note (#2): the value is per stud. (I.E one stud of blue is worth 10, 2 studs of blue is worth 20. ETC)
